An Overview of Our Program
Water & Attention
In Part 1, we begin gently with a baby step, learning about the essence of prayer, witnessing, and attention. We explore the path of prayer as a path founded in our willingness to surrender to miracles. We learn about the water and her role in prayer as an entryway into understanding how we may live each day in prayer–simply, with no big efforting or fanfare, deeply authentic and true.
Home As A Prayer Womb
In Part 2, we allow our connection to prayer to expand into the sacred womb temple of our home. We are now primed to notice the prayer through the home, to be encased in the womb of prayer. We will focus on prayerful dwelling, breathing, the metaphysical roles of various rooms, clean spaces, altar spaces, letting go, beautiful touches, and embracing mess. We will reassess and tend to the personal house, allowing it to become a living altar and vessel of our desires, intentions, and prayers.
Tea & Chocolate
In Part 3, now familiar with the essence of prayerful living, we learn how to carry that essence into simple daily moments and rituals, like our morning coffee/tea, chocolate, showering, greeting the day, ending the day, dreaming, and so on. Indeed, we dive joyfully into the magic of mundane prayer!
Touch & Sound
In Part 4, we are now ready to bring things into the larger context of life where we may be overwhelmed with feeling, but we remain “present anyway." We focus on how we may embrace the full-spectrum of our humanity whilst remaining "on path"–feeling and navigating the challenges without compromising or contradicting our prayer one iota. To that end, we explore how we may work with this measure of reorienting back to prayer through the senses and the simplicity of moment to moment happenings.
The Word
In Part 5, after having spent a full month practicing simple, immersive prayer basics, we are now ready to travel into the cosmic portal of The Word and refresh the integrity of our Word. We will move into deeply understanding the role of The Word in creation, explore the power of words, and take full accountability for the words we choose. We will immerse The Word in Love and let it serve to speak the truth of the Heart, in service to the Prayer of Our Lives.
Footsteps & Body & Intimacy
In Part 6, we will explore the connection between intimacy and prayer. From self-intimacy and self-care to touch with partners to intimacy with life–via the way we move, stand, breathe, hold ourselves, dance with the energy within us and around us. Indeed, as we walk, we pray! We will also explore movement practices as paths into prayer, as revealed by the body.
Earth, Wind, Moon, Sun: Feel Your Prayer Everywhere
In the last segment of our program, Part 7, everything we have been seeping in will culminate as a new way of being. We are bound to now find ourselves living in the Temple of Today, awash in the light of connection, deeply immersed in prayer–our buzzing, vital seeds ebulliently germinating, (or perhaps already flowering!), for our life ahead. We are now each resting somewhere refreshed&clear within, and equipped and empowered with the understandings needed to continue walking this beauty way of prayer on our own. And so it is!
